The ceremony was gorgeous and the wind was strong as Charla and Peter said “I Do” under a beautiful blue Hawaii sky on the beach fronting the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. These two are just full of positive energy; shooting them was such a blast! Always smiling and up for anything, these two showed us not just a great love but a great friendship.
I had another fun family session this week! This time it was with the Badylak Fam. We met at one of my favorite little spots here in Kona, at the very end of Old Kona Airport Beach is a little path leading to a secluded beach….. 2 yr old Jack was all energy, but he did manage to look at me a little and I got some great shots!
Yay! I’m beyond happy to share Shine & Gregs’s wedding sneak peek. They came all the way from Seattle to get married here on the Big Island. I knew it was going to be a good one when I met them the week before the wedding, they were so nice, calm and relaxed, and didn’t mind at all that my 3-yr old (and very opinionated) daughter tagged along for our consultation! I feel like I say this about every wedding (and maybe I am just lucky to work with THE best couples) but this wedding was such a celebration of love, family and friends. I felt so welcome the entire time. A beautiful reception was orchestrated by Brian Scully and Ashley Akamu at the Royal Kona Resort, with live entertainment provided by Bula Akamu and Polynesian Fire Dancers . Everyone involved was so genuine and gracious. I wanted to stay forever! Please enjoy the pictures.
